Orthopedic Care
Care for Your Bones, Joints & Muscles
Orthopedic care deals with the bones, joints, muscles, ligaments and tendons that let you move. Problems such as fractures, joint pain, back pain and sports injuries can limit everyday life, from walking and climbing stairs to work and play.
At Master Surgeon, Dr. Sunkara Rajesh offers personalized, evidence-based care. Wherever possible we use non-surgical treatment first, and recommend surgery only when it is truly the best option for you.
- Thorough examination and accurate diagnosis of bone, joint and muscle problems

- Guided rehabilitation to restore movement and strength
- Clear advice on preventing the problem from returning
When to See an Orthopedic Doctor
Early assessment often means simpler treatment and a faster recovery. Do not wait for pain or stiffness to become severe.
Pain, swelling or deformity after a fall, accident or sports injury
Joint pain, stiffness or swelling that lasts or keeps returning
Back or neck pain, or pain that travels down the arm or leg
Difficulty walking, climbing stairs or getting up from a chair
Locking, clicking or a feeling that a joint gives way
Inability to bear weight or move a limb after injury — seek care urgently
Non-Surgical & Surgical Treatment
We choose the simplest effective treatment for your condition, and move to surgery only when it is needed.
Non-Surgical Treatment
Many bone and joint problems improve without an operation, through medicines, physiotherapy, exercises, supports or casts, injections and lifestyle changes. This is always considered first.
Surgical Treatment
When non-surgical care is not enough, or for serious injuries such as complex fractures, surgery can repair or stabilise the problem. Your surgeon will explain the need, benefits and risks.
Common Orthopedic Conditions
From sudden injuries to long-standing pain, each problem is assessed and treated individually.
Fractures & Injuries
Broken bones, dislocations and other injuries are diagnosed with X-rays and treated with a cast, splint or surgery according to the fracture.
Joint Pain & Arthritis
Pain and stiffness in the knee, hip, shoulder or other joints, treated to reduce pain, protect the joint and keep you moving.
Back & Neck Pain
Muscle strain, disc problems and posture-related pain, assessed carefully to find the true cause before choosing treatment.
Sports & Soft-Tissue Injuries
Sprains, ligament and tendon injuries and muscle tears, with treatment and rehabilitation aimed at a safe return to activity.

Ongoing SupportOrthopedic Care — Frequently Asked Questions
When should I see an orthopedic doctor?
See a doctor if you have pain after an injury, joint or back pain that lasts more than a couple of weeks, swelling or deformity, or difficulty moving a limb. Get urgent care if you cannot bear weight or move the limb after an injury.
Do all fractures need surgery?
No. Many fractures heal well in a cast or splint. Surgery is advised when the bone is badly displaced, the joint is involved, or the fracture is unstable. Your surgeon will decide after examining you and reviewing the X-rays.
Do I need surgery for joint pain?
Usually not at first. Most joint pain is managed with medicines, exercises, physiotherapy, weight management and other non-surgical care. Surgery is considered only when these no longer control your symptoms.
How long does a fracture take to heal?
It depends on the bone, your age and your general health, but many fractures need several weeks to a few months to heal. Your surgeon will monitor healing with follow-up visits and X-rays.
Will I need physiotherapy?
Often yes. Rehabilitation helps you regain strength and movement after an injury or surgery and lowers the chance of the problem returning. We will guide you on the right exercises for your case.
